Students who are drawn to the field of public safety will learn the fundamental skills and technical knowledge required for a career in the American legal and justice systems. This program prepares students for entry-level positions in law enforcement and security, while providing a rigorous foundation for those pursuing higher education in criminal justice or forensics.
The Criminal Justice program focuses on the technical and ethical aspects of law enforcement. Students will study the American legal system, criminal law, and the constitutional rights of citizens. Training includes practical applications such as patrol procedures, traffic and crowd control, and emergency response techniques.
Learn to use industry-standard equipment and methods, including evidence collection kits, fingerprinting tools, and surveillance technology. Students will gain hands-on experience in:
- Investigatory Techniques: Interviewing, evidence gathering, and crime scene processing.
- Report Writing: Mastering the detailed documentation required for legal proceedings.
- Physical Training: A strong emphasis on physical fitness, self-defense, and building the self-confidence necessary for high-pressure situations.
- Simulated Scenarios: Practicing arrests, searches, and seizures in supervised, real-world mock-ups.
